when i was in vermont a couple weeks ago we stopped in a little store that sold, among other things, soup mixes! i bought the corn chowder one, and today followed the directions to make some DELISH soup. i doctored it up (as suggested on the back of the package) with half and half, creamed corn, and onions. hoo-ray.
and there's plenty left over for a couple lunches this weekend!
