can we discuss my love affair with pretty tomatoes? i bought these at a farmer's market in boise after we'd flown in - then we had a really yummy lunch and drove to ketchum, where jenny lives. we ate the tomatoes them later in the weekend with boursin cheese and they were DELISH.
I just joined a CSA and I'm SO EXCITED about the heirloom tomatoes I've got coming on Saturday. There's something about the variance in color that makes it more wonderful.
ReplyDeletei'm in total agreement - pretty tomatoes are somehow more delicious. maybe it's because pretty tomatoes aren't mass produced? maybe there is method to my madness?
