i'm headed to florida this weekend for my grandma's 90th birthday celebration!  (this is, perhaps obviously, not the same grandma as the one in connecticut whom i visited over christmas break.)  there will be a lot of family there, and i'm excited to see them.  my grandpa is not doing well, though; while i am really glad that i will get to see him, the weekend is a little tinged in sadness because his health is failing.  sigh.

off to florida i go...with the season 3 finale of dexter to keep me company on the plane!
