State of the Union Bingo!

(You KNOW you want to play along with me and my AP Government classes!)

Directions:

1.     Watch the State of the Union address.

2.     Listen carefully to the President’s speech.

3.     When the President says one of the key words or one of the actions is carried out, mark your card.

Iraq	Taxes	Iran	Uninsured	Supreme Court justice applauds
College	“The state of the union is strong” (or words to that effect)	Afghanistan	Veterans	Congress
Economy	Jobs	FREE SPACE	Speaker of the House stands up	Unemployment
Any gay rights issue	Safe	Poverty	First Lady	Responsibility
Someone in the audience boos	Constitution	Election	Stimulus	Osama bin Laden

I adapted this from the National Constitution Center's State of the Union Bingo.  Theirs is pretty awesome.  Mine is better.  


I can pretty much guarantee that the State of the Union address will be more fun to watch if you're playing this game.
