okay, people, i graded 100 more essays today than i did yesterday. 100! i am amazing!
i actually don't know where these hundred came from, but at the end of the day that was the total. so there. i guess i'm hitting my stride. and: our table (the 7 of us) was declared by the computer that calculates these things as statistically most accurate of all 16 tables grading our question. i have no idea what this means, but we're supposed to be proud of it. so we are.
official pet peeve: spelling "trial" as "trail." um, students? "trial" was written IN THE QUESTION. how are you misspelling it in your answer?? i would guess that one out of every five students does this and it makes me want to punch them in the face. (not really. but i have started talking to the exam booklet about it as i grade.)
