ahead of schedule
i know it will get cold again. my heart doesn't want to believe it, but my brain knows it is true. it's february 27th. it will get cold again.
but aren't i allowed to revel in this for now? and for the next 10 days, assuming the weather forecast isn't horribly wrong? the few flowering trees, the ambitious daffodils, the light blue sky, the sun.

Are those pictures from this year? There is a hearty forsythia near the depot that is trying to bloom, but otherwise the warm weather has not fooled to local flora.
ReplyDeleteI was flicking throught the TV's menu and came across the "Willis Report." I got excited hoping for some fine art or perhaps some fashion tips, but it turned out to be Fox Business News channel. What a disappointment.
