what? you're not up on your dutch film stars? shocking.
for christmas dad got me a membership to a film club that screens foreign and independent movies two sundays a month in a movie theater in atlanta. a film professor from emory picks the movies and leads a discussion/analysis afterward. today was the first showing, and we saw bride flight which was WONDERFUL and i've decided that i'm going to marry waldemar torenstra. the film is in both english and dutch, and he speaks pretty good english (with a new zealand accent) in parts of the movie, so don't worry: i think we'll be able to communicate. as this is the only potential barrier to our love, expect the wedding invitations soon.
