on friday night i saw blue valentine, a movie that was at times really really hard to watch, at times SO sweet, at times depressing. it was an emotional rollercoaster for sure. i really liked it, though, and found the story so compelling...and i have a new-found crush on ryan gosling.
big shout out to erica, who saw this movie before we did and played this song for us when we were in nashville. for the first thirty seconds i was like, "what IS this song?" and now of course i've purchased it from itunes.
even more interesting is the story behind it - experts don't really know who wrote or performed the song. i love me a good mystery.
