yesterday after the so-tragic-let's-not-even-talk-about-it loss by my blue devils, i went over to abby and aaron's house to play dorky games (so fun) and eat dinner. it was such a perfect sunday afternoon, and i'm really really happy that these friends have moved to atlanta*. while aaron and i played one last game, abby made dinner. i love cooking, but BEING cooked for is a pretty awesome thing. and abby is an amazing cook - this is the delicious dinner that she made us:
homemade black bean-sweet potato veggie burgers with HOMEMADE BUNS. and the buns had cheese in them. i almost died.
homemade salsa.
HOMEMADE GUACAMOLE.
i mean, honestly - how did i get so lucky?
and then, as i was leaving, abby gave me some leftovers - salsa and two burgers and buns. i am salivating just thinking about having one for lunch today. literally salivating. whatever the cafeteria has to offer can obviously not compare.
*well, conyers. but close enough.
